2004 Cervelo P3 Dura-ace value?

So I'm going to buy a 2004 Cervelo p3 Dura-ace equipped for 500$.Does this sound like a good deal and how much is it truly valued at?I know Bikepedia says around 750$ but I feel like it should go for more. It's fully grey and has only rust on the handlebar screws and some scratches on the pedals.I'll attach a picture below, thanks for looking.

I never see a Dura Ace bike sub $500 so certainly a fair deal from that standpoint. Course this one doesn't have brifters which is the most expensive component of the group. You sure the brakes are Dura Ace?

Decent wheels and saddle as well so if this bike is your thing, I think the price is right.

Would selling it at 900$ be overpriced?

That would be a hard sell in my opinion. It's a niche bike made for triathlons and time trials, so your market is going to be small. Looks like 650c wheels and those are not Dura-Ace brakes but Cervelo Dual Pivot Black (most likely Dia-Compe)

The guy you are buying it from can't sell it at his asking, $650 and is willing to take $500 but somehow you think you can garner another $400 for it. I would be impressed if you did. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback about the brakes, I'm not buying if they aren't Dura-ace.His ad was terrible and probably the main reason why he didn't get any offers at 650.One picture and less than a sentence description.I'm pretty good at ad posting so it's not really an issue.

The back gear is Dura Ace but the brakes are Cervelo.Any chance I'd make any money on this purchase?Doubt I could do 800$

He said the Crankset was Dura-Ace, let's hope he's not lying.I'm going to go forward with the purchase.

This. Unless you are going to part it out and sell every individual part and the frame on ebay.
