Alright, since my Schwinn Collegiate Sport 5 thread was a bust...

Here is what I think to be a really decent looking cruiser. Huffy 3-speed. What's it worth??

Though I am not a Huffy fan, the asking price seems fair to me. That, of course, depends on where you live and if the bike is road worthy and safe to ride.

The bottom line...not much to those who are familiar with them...low-end bike that will not hold up well to daily riding (when it finally gets ridden), poorly made frame and components, difficult/nearly impossible to properly true those wheels. Just junky stuff. Not for somebody on C&V, unless it has special meaning. If you like this style, try a 3-speed Schwinn Racer, Collegiate, or a 3-speed Raleigh (Huffy Sportsman, Rudge, Humber, Dunelt, Philips, Sunbeam, Hercules, etc.), or a Raleigh Sprite. Early '90s crossover (hybrids) like the Trek Multi-Tracks are pretty nice, just add polycarbonate fenders and a rear rack. Just trying to help.

Thanks for the quick and dirty news! Haha. I just wish my old bike didn't get stolen :-/ Looking for a solid ride that does the same job at under $200, not necessarily married to a particular make/model... What would you say about my old purchase, cycleheimer?? Here it is...

Looks nice. Indestructable. $200 price seems just a little high. Older steel hybrids with fenders, racks and bags can also be good, versatile bikes. For "vintage" styling, Raleigh Sprites are also nice. Make sure they are in really good condition.
