Value of old bike?
Can you tell me an approximate value for this old bike or tell me how to find out? It belonged to a (late) friend who had it as a child in England in the 1950s or thereabouts. I use it as garden decor. Thank you!

Looks great as lawn art you should probably just leave on the lawn. Rough condition lower end utility bikes from the 50's and 60's really aren't worth much. There some cool bike but there just seems to be almost no market for these and there are a lot of them around in nice shape.

Not really antique, and no real value, either. If you want to, you could spend about $70 to make it rideable, but then it would only be a $100 bike.

I disagree with the above. That's an unusual bike, a cargo or delivery bike, potentially very interesting. It's a single speed with rod brakes, so I'd say it probably is old enough to be called an 'antique,' though from the photos I can't tell more than that. Value depends on condition, and I can't tell. Letting it rust away, for sure, does no one any good.
