The model is a PX-45. It's very original, too, and it could be '76 or '77. That's an awesome score on an extremely well-conditioned and very original bike.

it appears to be a French market PX45. During the boom, the USA and Canada got an equivalent men's version, marketed as a UP41 but I don't recall a ladies' version. Also the USA models used 27" wheels. These look like they could be 650B as used in Europe.

I've been talking without confirming things a lot lately, so I just went and did a catalog confirmation on this one.

It looks like it could've been a '76/'77/'78 model. Here are the respective catalog pages from the French catalogs. I'm not sure what region you're in, so I can't say if yours would've differed much from the FR catalogs.

Man, I would kill someone for a box of those black hand grips.
I'd like some of them in white, also, but ...

I would love to have those lights for my Gitane Hosteler (Soubitez?).

I have (at minimum) one of the front lights I can spare for you. Came with a fendered French-market PX-8 someone put by the roadside for garbage pickup, but it was in perfectly fine shape. I think it was only the front fender still intact, though. So no rear light per se.

Thank you

Thank you for posting photos of your mixte frame bike. It is in lovely condition. It is a light and quick bike. Living on this side of the world UK, we don't mind or fuss about gender type frames. We just ride whatever and have fun. I will try to post the one I have. Enjoy 😀

Blue Peugeot Riviera is mine but will sell on. Will stick to men's road bikes. The French Motobecane was stunning great paint finish but heavier to ride than the Pug. Sold it on immediately and sold right away. Raleigh and Hercules are my favourite vintage English bikes.

If it's UK market, then it is a PX45.
