Schwinn Super Sport

I'm liking this one and the price seems reasonable no?

If it fits and you like the test ride, go buy it. Looks to be a mostly original, seldom, ridden, ss.

The price is good, but note that many of the original parts are missing. This includes both the front and rear derailleurs, freewheel, chainrings/chainguard, and the Brooks B15 saddle. While not original the replacement derailleurs will shift better than the originals, and the triple chainrings offer a wider range of gearing. According to the original components it appears to be a '72 to early '73 model with a 24" frame:

Yes a 24" Super Sport 1972. It is mine now! 26" is big that would be even nicer. I have saddles so that's OK. The chain ring wasn't installed super well I will look for something else there. But it feels good and after some tuning up should be even better. First thing is to update the tires, these look like they may be original

This Sports Tourer, bought as a frameset with brakes, headset, and stem, is as close as I will get to a early 1970's SS.
