Klein Quantum Value
I have the opportunity to buy two Klein Quantum road bikes. Both are early 90s, in good condition, beautiful paint (of course). Both have Shimano 600 components. One is a Quantum II, asking for $1000 but I could negotiate down to about $750. The other is a Quantum Z for $550, doesn't want to negotiate. I'm so tempted because these bikes are in good shape and look beautiful, but the bluebook value for the II is about $400 and the Z is about $250. Aside from the bluebook value, are these worth the extra $$ just due to brand / age / nostalgia?
Basically, I'm just trying to justify buying one of these. Bottom line - are these bikes worth the higher asking price?

If you are quoting prices from Bicycle Blue Book, I find them to lowball the value of most vintage bikes.

Those seller prices seem to be basically reasonable these are very nice bikes with some of the nicest fame sets from the 90's. The 600 components will hold price down some on this level of bike I would actually expect something a bit nicer. So figure about $700-800 on the II and $500-600 for the Z if everything is in great shape and the paints really nice.
