Huffy 626
I snagged Huffy 626 bike at $20. I normal pass any Huffy but this bike looked a bit different. Is this Hi-Ten steel or Chromoly? Did I just waste money on it?

Yeah, you probably did.....
I see nothing here other than a $20, maybe even a $30 bike.

It's a cheaply-made bike, so it's gonna be hi-ten. Note how the fork ends were made by crimping the fork blades, how the dropouts are crimped into the stays, and the one-piece crank.

Thanks for honest answers. I needed them. I'm going to try return it. I guess yesterday I made many mistakes like this and buying wrong size miyata 1000.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

You did just fine. Any bike that runs with no real mechanical issues is worth $20. Just know there are lots of Huffy-haters on here.

If the tires are in decent condition and nothing is rusted or seized up, then $20 is a reasonable price to pay for a beater. Just so you know, if you put $200 into it and replaced every moving part, it would still be worth $20.

incazzare.
I wouldn't bother returning it. Put it on Craigslist for $25 and try to make five bucks.
