Cannondale Adventure 400

2002 Model. With the exception of some small handlebar wear it's NM. And well it was cheap. Dirt cheap.

Nice looking hybrid, and as you found out, hybrids don't get top dollar. The condition looks like it was never ridden. Should be worth $125, maybe $150 with a nice ad. Are you selling it or just curious to see how you did?

Where I live it'd be around $200. The Cannondale name gives it a bump and hybrids do better than mountain bikes. No HeadShok to crap out on you too!

You got it. I wouldn't take less than $300 for this.

By the way I have been looking for something like this for quite some time.

I tried to trade a Scott Scale 70 for a year for a fixed fork Hybrid Bike and all I got was nonsense offers. I sell it two weeks ago (I had the bike for five years) for $225 in less than a day, and find this two weeks later. Crazy.

Hybrids aren't worth much? When I stupidly sold a Trek multi-trak 750 in 2010 I got $175 for it quick. It was completely stock.

Depends on the Hybrid folks. I know this particular Cannondale isn't some high end bike, but it's the name, size, and condition that would drive the value of the bike.

It's a keeper. Of course until I find something better in a month, year, two years..........

By the way there is some goofy Blue Book Site. I wouldn't pay a damn bit of attention to it. It's like price guides, waaay off!

What year? Some of the early 90's lugged 750's are worth more, a lot more. They share the same frame as a Trek 520 touring bike.

Good looking Cannondale, it should serve you well.

At the time I sold the Trek the most valuable ones I was seeing like the one I had were bringing $225.
I think it was a 91. 20 inch Frame, deep, dark blue with white lettering, and a small green insignia of a mountain.
To this day I don't what I was thinking. I was of this road bike mentality mindset. (Like some are in this thread) I like a nice roadbike, but a hybrid type bike, or cyclocross bike is what I need.
At the time I found a Scott Scale 70, and thought it was great, and would easily replace the 750. I was very wrong.
I also was finding quality bikes like Chiclets. Even low end nice condition mountain bikes by companies like Trek I was finding them for like $7, and flipping them for $70 in less than a day.
I actually had an early 90's Trek 520 with a True temper Frame. One of the only bikes I have ever found that I wish I could have kept, but it was just to big. 25 Inch Frame. I did get $350, and the buyer drove frame Boston, to Baltimore to purchase it.
The market is stronger now than it was five years ago for certain bikes as many of you know.
