1984 Lotus Classique

Hi All,

Wondering what you would value my all original 1984 Lotus Classique at?

Hoods are cracking and starting to fall apart but they can still be ridden. Should be replaced soon.

Other than that the bike is in really good shape.

Chrome rear stays!

I have no idea of value but someone will.
Cool bike.
Isn't the rear QR on the wrong side?

I would say $150-$175, as it needs new rubber and an overhaul. Same bike with shipping just sold on ebay for $200 with shipping.

Briefly out of lurk mode.

I have to differ with OJ. Auction above went cheap, sorry I missed it. $250 as it sits, $325 totally refurbished. I sold a very pristine one, with everything fresh, for more.

Rear QR is on wrong side for sure. Five second fix.

Ha, had I been browsing ebay, I would have scooped up that Lotus from Piermont, only a 1/2 hour drive from NJ.

A very solid example of mid 80s Japanese quality. Unfortunately most buyers do not know Lotus and while the upper end models can sell for decent $ when exposed on ebay, local sales of mid range Lotus will rarely top 150-200 even in good condition. If you live in a hot market add 50 or so to that pricing.

I remember thinking these bikes were the stuff back in the eighties.
