My 2 Garage sale Vintage bikes :) What are they worth ?
I scored both these beauties Real Cheap at a garage sale Yesterday They werent even out for sale i just asked hey ya got any bikes...He says i got a couple that have been in the basement since 1976..he goes and gets em and they are filthy dirty but 100% original down to the inner tubes so i spent this whole day cleaning and polishing them , i found out the schwinn breeze was built in november 1972 , although i dont know what year the Murray Monterey is? anyone know by looks? Anyhow here they are

I have no idea what they are worth but they cleaned up amazingly! Hats off to you on your score and your work!

Two electro-forged 1970's beauties. Back when they built stuff to last. You should be able to get around $75 to $100 for the Schwinn. Maybe $50 for the Murray.

These bikes look to be in great shape but aren't worth a lot. There just isn't a big market for mass produced step through 3 speeds. I would say $100-125 for the Schwinn and $75 for the Murray.

Still learning
In Texas, I would agree on zukahn1's valuations. You might check to ebay solds to see if it is worth the effort to sell them there, particularly the Breeze.

In a large city, I could see the schwinn going for north of $150 to someone who wants a vintage bike. The condition on this bike is excellent. I'd start out at $150 and adjust the price as needed.
