Classic Campagnolo : Derailleur Roller Repair

Dear Forum Members,

I have an Old School, Campagnolo Nuovo C Record Rear Derailleur that has a slight issue. I need to replace the bottom roller (pulley part) as it has a hairline crack.

Where can I find this Bottom Roller (i.e. it is the slightly larger roller)?

Please help!

Thanks,

Casey

Welcome to the forums.

A Nuovo C Record? Can you post some pics of the RD and the part? I suspect Oschnet International or eBay may be your best bet.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

eBay has some, in fact I'll be selling a few out there soon. These are known for cracking, I'm replacing the ones from my rider bikes with the alloy sealed bearing ones - which are cheaper than the originals on eBay right now. Go figure...

...indeed they are, I have a handful of them that are so cracked. The seem to continue working fine that way, but your alloy sealed bearing ones is the most practical solution, which I do sometimes as well. There used to be some Shimano pulley wheels you could pull off scrap derailleurs at the co-op that would fit, but the whole thing is pretty hit and miss.
