1940's Hercules...worth?
I bought this 1940's Hercules from my neighbor who got it when he was stationed in England. This bike was originally owned and ridden by a Scottish Police officer. Cool thing... It has a generator in the front hub that runs the lights. Not sure if it works but I am told it does. It is all original but for the kick stand which was added by the neighbor. I would like to sell it but I have no idea of it's value. Can anyone help me out?

I had that same bike a couple of decades ago. There's no textbook value; it depends where you live, time of year, your astrological sign etc. Between $150 and $350?
I paid $50 but I had to swap out the herc chainwheel. Too saw-toothed.

In my rural area I could get $100 - $125 as is; double that cleaned and serviced.

We are in East Texas now. Not much interest here (; wrong kinda saddle
Will be moving back to cali where I think folks there have a better appreciation. Since I won't be retiring on the sales of it I'll enjoy it myself awhile longer, she's a looker.
Thanks for the input!
