Miyata 310

What's the value of this Miyata 310 ten speed road bike? It's supposedly in new condition even though manufactured in 1982! It's a 22 inch frame which I think is my size (22 1/2 inches). the asking price is $180.

I hope you're about 6'3" or so. If so, that bike is in really good shape for the price.

?? Maybe I'm not figuring out how to add a photo! I am positive that I added 2 attachments (photos of the bike) that I copied from CL and saved on my hard drive (pictures folder)

Miyata 912 57 cm

Newbie Danarello here again. I'm trying to post pics with my tread this time. So this Miyata 912 is available on CL. I'm wondering how this bike compares to the 310. Hope you can see the pic this time! The asking price is $260.

If you're having trouble posting pictures, can't you just post links to the ads themselves?

Luckily for you, Miyata catalogs are well documented online. Miyata Bicycle Catalogs

The 912 looks like the 1987 model, near the top of their line underneath the Team models. Page 12 of the '87 catalog.

The bike you posted has had its stem, pedals, seat post, saddle, and wheels swapped out for different ones (just from the things I can see). It's missing its brake hoods.

Miyata 912 57 cm

Thanks for the feedback Clang! So the Miyata 912 I posted is not exactly in original condition! that's good to know. thanks also for the link to the catalog. I didn't know Miyata made some really nice race bikes in the 80's.

I have been seeing some really nice bikes for sale on CL that have XL frame sizes! I need 57-58 cm.

So what CL do you browse? Your location is Southern California, so that means LA? San Diego? What?

If you're looking for 22.5" frames, I could help you look for one.

EDIT: wait, that Ironman you're also looking at is larger than that. How tall are you?

Hello Clang,
I'm 6 ft. tall. My bike is a Pinarello FP Quattro 57.5 cm frame. I think 56 cm frame size could work but is on the small side. Some of my cycling buddies ride 56 cm frames but when I sit on their bikes it feels too small for me. So I think 22 1/2 to 23 inch frame would be best.
