Thanks, but RU is a trade mark that was created in 1904, which sells Taiwan, Japanese, Dutch, British, Austrian bikes. It's not a manufacturer.I believe it is 1955-57.

Italian Royce Union from the fifties or very early '60's. Frame constructed of Agrati lugset "AM." Brakeset Univeral Mignon. Pedalset Sheffield. Stem/bar set may be Schierano. Headset Agrati. Chainset may be OMG. Wheel rims Maccari. Hubset may be Agrati (likely unmarked). Contract built, possibly Chiorda.

One of the cycle's interesting points is its propstand with the two bolt mount. Have not before encountered a two bolt mount propstand. Is it perchance marked with a name?
You inquired as to dating. Might try demounting saddle to see if there are any markings on its underside. Sometimes a date or other information can be found here.
