Razesa

I thought I'd share some pictures of the Razesa frame I recently sold. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on them out there so I thought a few pics might help. One regret is that I think it had a titanium BB axle that I should have pulled before selling. The chrome was in much better condition that the pics show. When cleaned up this thing used to sparkle in the sun. I had it for a long time but I could not get used to the ride. The frame was just a little too big and I could not get comfortable on it.

I know what I sold it for, what do you think it was worth where you are?

Thank you for posting.

Looks to be early to mid '80's.

IIRC Zeus Cyclery Corp. of NYC was an agent for these at this time.

A NOS one just sold for $599.00 on Ebay. Others, the two or three there, offered at the same price, did not sell...

Man wish I was around when you sold it, that would of fit me. I wouldn't mind having something like that. Chromovolato is nice.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

What's up with the engraved Cinelli logo on the fork crown? Enquiring minds want to know!
Too big for me but that is gorgeous!

That is worth $450 in my book. Especially with headset and BB. Cinelli fork is interesting and looks original to bike.

I just sold my Razesa through Bike Forums in the $400 range (plus shipping). It also had a Cinelli fork, which I do believe is original to the bike...

I see no reason in keeping it a secret but I did let it go as pictured for $250. I know, I know. But that was all it was worth to me.

I bought the bike used at least 25 years ago from a private party. I could not attest to the authenticity since I bought it used but it was mostly campy at the time. The one thing I've noticed is this one has the seat binder bolt in the seatstays. I have a few more pics and I'll post them for posterity here soon.

Sigh...at some point I hope to get a Razesa. I could see one these Spanish Chromovelato's built up with Zeus 2000. Sweet. That would be on grail list for me.

Razesa seems to have done a fair amount of private labelling (contract builds). You may encounter one bearing another nameplate.
