1992 Bravado for 80.00
 

Hi I have been looking to purchase a high end vintage GT. Really want a Zaskar but can't find one in my price range. I just found a 92 Bravado that looks to be in good shape with the exception of the fork that they say will need to be replaced soon and the decals which are pretty shabby. I can get it for 80.00 which I think is a good deal however while I am pretty familiar with vintage GTs I know next to nothing about the Bravado except that it was a decent model with a steel frame ( I have never ridden a steel frame and don't know what to expect. So I would like someone's opinion on the price, the difference in the ride of steel as opposed to aluminum,how much heavier is a steel frame than the 6061 aluminum I am used to and the best way to remove old decals. I would greatly appreciate others opinions on these things. Thank you very much!
