Help identifying unknown road bike frame
A friend recently enlisted my help to help him identify a bike he's had. It was given to him about 4 years ago as a $500 payment someone was unable to make. Only reason I bring this up is because the person that gave it to him was insistent that it was worth at least that much. But who knows, could have been exaggerated. Friend also says it is very light wihich leads me to believe it's aluminum. Does any known company use those black and white stripes? I'll try and have him and more and better pictures. Anything helps, thanks.

From the images Igood chance the frame is titanium. The fork maybe aluminum, needs a magnet test.
The fork should be removed, I have a gut feeling the steerer maybe aluminum too, which if so, I would set it aside.

I agree it looks like titanium. Is the bottom bracket shell, the place where the crank arms attach, threaded? Is there a diameter marking on the seat post? Does it come out? Any markings or numbers on it?
