Civia Hyland value?

Hi all, I will try to post a pic later but wanted to get your take on how much my bike is worth. I have a 2011 Civia Hyland Alfine. It is literally brand new and never ridden. It was part of someone's collection and then sold at an auction. The biggest difference is that is done not have the internal 8 speed hub. It uses a standard 9 speed rear with Deore XT derailleur. It also has Civia bamboo fenders with brooks leather grips. It is absolutely mint. Not a scratch. Any ideas? I'll put pics up when I get home.

Post your photos to a photo hosting site and provide linkbacks. As a general rule of thumb, a 5 year old used bike is about 50% of new.

That would be awesome. Hopefully that's true. It retailed for $1300-$1500 In 2011. I bought it for $150

That's very true. It's a well made bike but not well known so it's hard to get an idea of the sale price.

Well, without the Alfine RW, that is a big hit. Nice extras offset some of that. But you will need better photos, from the drive side, taken outdoors with a neutral background.

I'm thinking $400 FMV.

Yea I'll have my photographer wife snap some nice pics. I'm trying to get some history on this bike. Why would it not have an internal hub. I didn't know it came this way. It's a Deore LX 9 speed
