Restoration of a Peugeot PGN 10 1985

Hello,

I'm new here. I'm French and live at France. I like old bike!!
I wanted to restore a nice peugeot bike. Maybe the most famous brand at France!

So i bought a peugeot PGN10 for 50euros. The front and rear wheel was not the same, the paint was very damaged. So i decided to make a new paint. I choose an epoxy paint because the original paint is very expansive. I put new stickers and I go to a paint shop to varnish it.

I cleaned all aluminium parts with "Belgom Alu" and replace some parts. The saddle is a turbo, the rear derailleur is a NOS part. Rims are Nos parts too! I found handle bar tape "Ambrosio" as original NOS on ebay!

Now i Have only a problem with the crankset who is bent... I bought a nervar to replace it!

Pictures when i bought it:

Welcome to Bike Forums! I like the colors of your Peugeot. I just recently purchased a 1972 Gitane Tour de France on ebay, and I am waiting for delivery. It will be the first French bike I have owned.

Also, I hope to visit your wonderful country someday.

Hello,

Cool!! I think it's easy to buy a bike on ebay but bike are often more expansive. In France, we have a famous website (www.leboncoin.fr) for buy used item. There is many bicycle. Near Paris, bike are more expansive because vintage bike is come back... but in other city, you can find very cool deals.
I bought mine only 50 but sometimes i see the same for 200 or 300 on ebay :O

Well... Now you can see the picture when i have finished restoration:

You can find all the restoration on this forum...Sorry it's in French
