Venturi Cesena, any more info, value?
Hello all!
I bought this Italian Venturi (Cesena) bike in Europe for an equivalent of about 250 USD. It is a Columbus Aelle tretubi frame, Campagnolo dropouts and a mix on components:
Shimano RX100 rear derailleur and a Campagnolo front derailleur (looks like Triomphe), Shimano shifters 7sp index.
Looks like a Triomphe brake calipers, SunTour GPX brake levers.
Campagnolo bb and seatpost, 3ttt stem and bars (Competizione), Turbo saddle
The crankset looks to be Campy Super Record (not fluted) in good condition and still perfectly good Sedis chain.
Campy hubs and Campy Record Strada rims.
After a little search I found that there was a Venturi SLX frame sold on ebay and apparently Venturi is still producing bikes Benvenuti nel Venturi Bike Racing but not much more info.
I still have a lot of questions, all information would be appreciated.
Cesena is Venturi's hometown, is Cesena also the model name, or does it even have a model name?
Are any of these components original (I would think rear derailleur, crankset, shifters and brake calipers are not original)?
Why there would be a Super Record crankset on an Aelle tretubi frame? Somebody changed it and forgot to ride? (the bike has some wear marks, but IMO its still in a very good condition, little wear in chain and crankset).
The sticker on the frame says Triomphe, maybe it supposed to be the original groupset?
Why there are so few results while searching, maybe not a popular model, cr&p or rare?
So, what would be the approximate value (just curious, I definitely will keep it for myself).
