Are these 3 CV bikes sold NOS? Cinelli, GIOs, Raleigh

All these bikes to me look like NOS Frame/components build projects, that don't seem to have any wear road time at all. Am I correct?

Interesting lot, any valuation opinions on final bid prices?

The Cinelli SuperCorsa SLX is maybe a 85 NOS? (Brake levers don't have a scratch, rims clean). The Raleigh is nice and a little obscure...Maybe Japanese model? The Gios Super Record is bigger question mark with paint, but man judging from rest of lot and how it looks, might be original and even if not, looks great all around as well to me.

did you buy one of them?

By the time I got to this post the bikes were all solds so I can't see any of the pics to tell you if they were nos or not.

The Gios was a repaint but identified as such, others seem NOS but did not follow them. The seller said that they came from an Estate Sale and appear to have never been ridden, sad to just have them sitting in a corner..thats why I ride mine and they look it. I will let someone else worry about the chips.
I would like to se what else was there and also know the story behind the OO.

Well in fact I was in the mix at the close on the Cinelli SC, and ended up winning the auction. Think I barely edged out 2nd max bidder. Pretty much knew going in, that I would have to come in over a grand. This is big expenditure for me and is 2x what I have spent on a CV bike so far. The bike looks to me that it is all there, and we'll see when I get it in person. Funny red is not necessarily my color, but if you decide to go red, why not do it right? with an Italian Rosso Ferrari red! Everything else looks good also with being my size and mint condition?

At $1250 shipped, price a little more than I wanted to pay. I ponied up more because of the apparent NOS condition of the bike. To me a pedigree CV bike is easily worth two or three hundred extra if condition is outstanding.

I don't know though man it is still a lot of cash for me right now, How do you guys think I did?

I've been watching these for awhile, and I think you did fine. Especially for the condition that its in. The frames usually list for what you paid for the complete bike.

The crank set with the Cinelli is interesting, the last of the GS crank arms"retro" design, with the smaller bolt hole circle, but Campagnolo did not make that circle with matching aesthetic rings, these are same as Victory...
If you can find it, I think as small as a 38t was made by Campagnolo.

Interesting selection of bikes (and parts).

i'm not convinced that they are truly NOS. The Gran Sport crankset is odd with the Cinelli. Are those aftermarket hoods on the Cinelli? Clinchers?

I think the freewheel on the Gios looks used. The brakes also look a bit weathered.

Nonetheless, the bikes look like they would be an excellent deal.

A huge congrats on winning the bid, the bike looked very sweet (after I found the pics). Whether or not you got a good deal will depend if the bike is in NOS condition when you get it, if it is in NOS condition then heck yeah you got a good deal, I've seen NOS Cinelli bare frames/forks sell for more.

The only question I have was the bike repainted with original nos decals added? I find it odd that he had to buy a new crankset for the bike unless the original crank wore out? There is also some light wear on the rims but nothing that a Scotch Brite pad can't take care of. But from the photos it looks very nice.

Obviously once you get the bike let us know what you think of the condition.

I think the crank was to be able to fit a smaller chainring than a 42 .

Unless I'm missing something, seller doesn't mention NOS in any of the ads. Excellent condition is all he claims.

The condition is excellent but I always think of NOS as something being unbuilt or new in the box. I have a NOS Cinelli Supercorsa frameset and it has a small bag stapled to the drive-side chainstay with an extra seatpost binder and a little plastic plaque inside. The plaque says something like "This is an original Cinelli...etc".

You did very well on the Cinelli, had the buyer done some research he could have doubled his price for sure, the saddle alone usually goes for a couple of hundred bucks.

Well this is pretty much grail bike for me thanks guys for input. I don't usually like to throw the NOS tag around. I'll take excellent any day. I will report back when I take shipment. (It is possible that the Cinelli could be a NOS build that wasn't completed) The Seller isn't a bike guy, so he threw in some stuff from his estate find lot, to complete package. I wouldn't be surprised if the SR crankset with the GIOS, was suppose to be for the Cinelli. The Campy G.S crankset is NOS with Victory chainring far as I can tell. Non original brake hoods don't mean much..he went with Modolo.

ebay only goes back 90 days on completed listing (which kinda sucks) but found a couple similar bikes and a NOS Cinelli frameset SC with SL tubing that didn't sell.

This one is VG I think and went for $2k

NOS Super Corsa SL frameset reserve not met at $1225

And finally this was on CL for a couple weeks then went to ebay and wasn't up that long with buy it now option at $1800. It was in nice condition, but was slightly older SL Cinelli frame, with little bit newer SR components.
