Vintage Raleigh Lion Tricycle with "Patent Applied For" on Frame

When we moved into our house 30 years ago there was a vintage tricycle in the loft, it had never been used and even had the paper wrapping on the handle bar and the plastic on the seat. We left it there and have just looked at it again and unfortunately it has developed surface rust from its years in the loft. It is a Vintage Raleigh Lion Tricycle with "Patent Applied For" on the frame. It is red with light blue mudguards. The actualy paintwork (red) is undamaged with surface rust on the blue mudguards and a little on hand break. It is surface rust only. I've attached a couple of pictures just taken. I haven't cleaned the loft dirt off yet. PLease see pictures attached.

Everything is perfectly sound and unused. Solid tyres, chain perfect and not rusty. Would anyone have any idea how much it may be worth? And how we go about selling it?

Thank you very much

Best Regards
Karen

Lion Bike

Hi Karen

Just saw this post on Bike forums - I used to have that same bike growing up in Scotland -
No idea how much it is worth but I would be interested in buying it. What a blast from the past !

I now live in Canada but my family still lives in Chester UK.

Please let me know if you would still be interested in selling

Not sure if this thread is old so you might have sold it a while back
