Please help me identify bianchi!!!
I have this beautiful Bianchi celeste. The decals match the 1988 models. I am not very informed when it come to vintage bikes so please excuse my ignorance when asked simple questions. I'm simply wondering if it's worth restoring a little and selling as a whole bike or selling as is and what to expect price wise. Thank you all for your help especially Bianchigirll for helping me post me first thread with images! lol But sincerely thank you this community has been very great so far! PLEASE HELP ME I OBSESS TRYING TO IDENTIFY THIS BIKE LOL

Nice looking frame.
The serial number on the BB has a D.6 component. I think this indicates that the frame was made in 1986. The components are all over map. You need to know which components are original to help identify the model.

How did I miss this? I think I may have missed a pic or two but the frame looks like a '88 or '89 but that depends on the tubing type, but I don't think any of the parts are original

There are features which point towards both 1986 and 1989. The frankenbike component selection certainly doesn't help. The one component which has the highest probability of being OEM is the headset. Framewise, nothing seems to match perfectly with any USA market model from either year, so there there is a good probability that it may be foreign market, which further complicates matters. The best I can state is that it is a late 1980s Bianchi frankebike with a mid-range frameset.
