The frame isn't in amazing shape. Pretty rough really paint wise but structurally sound. I was just wondering a range of values. It would include seat post and brakes.

Love to know what you guys think.

I think some photos are needed to render an opinion.

I paid about 350 for a similar one in the Cleveland market three years ago.

Well I was just thinking the frameset not the whole bike. Contemplating buying a space horse and I'll need to thin the herd. I just want to keep some room in my breeze way.

With the slightly rough paint with brakes seat post and likely headset $125-150 would allow you to build up the bike and not be upside down on the build if you really like it.

Are you looking for a new touring bike? The Space Horse is a fine bike but it's not really designed for full on loaded touring. It would certainly work (it takes pretty fat tires) as a touring bike though and it is likely to be a better everyday rider than a touring bike.

Well,my masi handles what I carry pretty fine, it just won't take fatter tires. Test riding the all city it seemed at least as stiff as the masi. Plus I,can get one for 1150. Its somehing to think about on long winter nights.

Yeah I get cabin fever as well and start thinking about a new bike. The space horse is pretty sweet. If your masi does duty as a touring bike, why not get a sports touring bike like the soma es?

ES | SOMA Fabrications

This is a pretty sweet lightweight bike that can take reasonably fat tires.

As far as a Vintage Touring Bike goes it would be hard to beat a Miyata 1000.
