Are these worth anything? Vintage banana seat bikes.

I have these bikes that my parents bought for my kids at a garage sale. My kids have since outgrown them and I'd like to clear them out of my garage but thought they might be worth something.

Pink bike has a tag that says Spartan on it
Purple says Western Flyer
Dark Pink says Hiawatha with Sidewinder on the side:
Blue says Sears:

This won't let me post links, so I used the attachment feature for images. If that doesn't work you can go to mattstjohn.com/bikes to see the images.

Spartan, Hiawatha Sidewinder, Sears, Western Flyer - Not sure what these are worth?

Not much really. A few years back, the Schwinn "Krate" model had a collector's boom, but that didn't last. A few 'better quality' bikes of this style still command a premium (Raleigh 5-speed twin-stick comes to mind). What you have are cheap, low-end department store and dime-store single speeds, in kid sizes and girl's frames. Maybe worth $25 each, $50 on a good day, if in good working order. A new set of tires will cost as much or more than they are worth. Bikes like these make a good donation to charity.

No, but I'd like the seats! I do this https://www.facebook.com/groups/1683288705275035/ and finding banana seats to put on the bikes to make room for adults is hard...

Those are pretty cool, I especially like the purple one. My sister had a bike with the same flower seat as the pink bike.

Anyhow, some people do like these 70s banana bikes and they're worth something. Perhaps $75-100 if you find the right buyer. It might be easier to donate them to charity for a tax write off, if that works for you and you mostly want to clear out your garage.

As has been mentioned, the Schwinn Stingrays and Krates are worth quite a bit more. Krate prices have come down but they are still not cheap.
