Red Miyata 210 two ten value
I'm considering buying this Miyata 210 two ten touring bike. It comes with a rack and a frame pump. Appears to have all original stuffs except the saddle. How much would you pay for this? I know it's low end of miyata touring line but heard good things about it. Any information/opinion on the bike would be appreciated.

Looks like a 1984 in 23in size, probably best for 5'10 or so rider. Otherwise looks to be in good shape and if ready to ride is worth 150-250 depending on location and time of year. I had a green version in the smaller size and a very well made bicycle for a "budget" line. It would make an excellent keeper at the right price. Sold this one on ebay, shipped for 300 several years ago but prices have generally dropped in last several years.

It's a handsome bike. Somebody took all the reflectors off & changed the seat & pedals. It looks early 80's which are great years. I think you could get a minimum of $150 and maybe up to $200 in a hot market.

I would be happy to get $100 for it in my market, after I put a serious saddle on it.

Still learning
If the cables are rust free and the bike has been fully overhauled recently, it might be worth as much as $225. But it looks like the bike has original cables and housing and the bike appears to need a spiff up which means an overhaul too, to replace 30 year old grease. Thus a value of $125 +/- 20%.

If I could get it for under $100 I'd ditch the drop bars & make into an upright rider.

Thanks for the replies. Picked it up the same day. Paid little over $100. It is ridding condition but may need some tuning. Some photos attached.
