Benotto modele 900
 

Hi, I've just bought a benotto modele 900 for £200, the frame and forks are pantographed,it's in really good condition, couple of marks to the chain stay a small ding in the seat stay and the decals need replacing on the seat tube, it's got modolo brakes and levers, campag nuovo grand sport front and rear mechs bars pedals 10sp gear levers headset etc, campag fluted seat post, benotto crankset and stem and benotto suede saddle, nisi rims and campag hubs, 5speed block, seems like everything is original with very little wear, did I pay a good price for the bike? It also has the heart shaped hole in the bottom of the frame on the bottom bracket lug, I read the frames where shared with de Rosa at one point?? Is it Italian or a later Mexican bike? The cables go under not over the bottom bracket, sorry for all the questions but read conflicting stories all the time! Regards Richard
