Bianchi Axis touring bike - What's it worth?
Hello, this is my first time posting!
I'm interested in buying this Bianchi Axis bike (looks like '89?). It is listed for $280 CAD. Is that a good price? I haven't been able to see it in person yet but just wanted to know a ball-park range of what I should be spending on this bike.
Thanks!

That's actually a cycle cross, not a touring bike. Vintage Cx bikes are uncommon and this one looks to be in good condition. $280 CAD ($208 US) seems fair to me.

Looks to be in good condition based on those pics and made from a good tubeset so I think a good price.

Well the Axis and Equinox were marketed as 'cross machines but were a bit on the heavy side for actual racing. The full set of brazeons makes them good commmuters am medium tourers.
That odd brazeon on the DT as well as the extra on the ST are for a carrying handle.
