Schwinn Crescent...
Though not a Schwinn enthusiast, I picked this bike up for less than a case of beer. It appeared to be very little used and I wanted the RX100 eight speed group on the bike, Brifters and all...

I am interested to know a bit about the bike, in case anyone knows anything about it. The frame and fork is now bare and ready for who knows what. The RX group will be fitted to this old Empire Professional, my to and from town junk bike...

Well......as an oddity, being one of the VERY few road bikes made with a suspension, it MIGHT be worth keeping as-is. An RX-100 groupset isn't terribly valuable, and I suspect that the value of this bike someday will hinge on whether or not it's "correct". I'd put this bike away for about 25 years, if I were you.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

700c suspension fork
If you post the frame and fork on CL for 2x the cost of that case of beer someone will talk you down a bit and you'll have your group for free, and some pocket jingle to boot!
