What's this Peugeot?
I haven't been able to figure out what model this is from any of the numbers I've found on the frame. Any idea? Honestly just curious... I love riding this bike though and just want to fix it up. Also, best way to remove all the rust?

Looks to be an early 80's entry level model Sport 10 speed that has been converted to upright bars and SS/FG, not real valuable but these are nicer rrders.. The rust doesn't look that bad I would probably replace the badly rusted nuts and bolts and consider treating the frame with a bath in wood bleach oxalitic acid there are several good threads in the classic section on treating rust.

Right on. Thanks for your input! I just wasn't finding any Peugeot images with those exact decals (though it's obviously missing some). A friend is going to guide me through rebuilding the hub in 2-3 weeks, since he knows how to do it and I have no idea (nor the tools or parts). Hoping to really overhaul this bike, because I've been riding it for over a year now and it seems really solid, just needs some tlc.

If you have been riding this for over a year don't you think it's about time you put a functional brake on it?
