Wow! Good eye. I've seen one of those up close but didn't make connection.

Not much beyond the Stronglight 93 chainset is original to the bike. Pedals may be OEM. The Brampton Aletet headset may be present - not possible to be sure. Lugset is BOCAMA.

And only after looking at it a few times did I realize that it's not hanging on the wall, but laid up in the rafters!

Got that one right away. Looks like whoever put it up there decided there should be bits of paper or cardboard betwixt frame and rafters. Insulation against something?

This example appears to have stamped ends. Some of them came through with forged ends, typically Zeus.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

I have one of these, same year I think, and it's a great riding bike. I converted mine to a 3 speed since the wheels were shot and the original derailleurs were missing. It fits 32mm tires with fenders easily. If it's not too expensive I'd buy it. Plus that lagoon blue & white color scheme is tops.

Might be early Shimano changers (maybe even proto-Dura-Ace Crane GS) and I've always had a soft spot for those sweet cranks. Enough to buy the pedal tap set. Wonder what those barely-installed sidepull brakes are? Originals were Weinmann centerpulls...
