Gitane Super Corsa - value?

I picked up this bike a couple months ago and it was sitting in my queue waiting to be worked on. I'm wondering about value. The ride is superb. If it were my size, I'd never let it go!

From what I can tell: Butted 531, Campy NR derailleurs, Galli crankset, Cinelli bars & stem, Superbe brakes, Record hubs, Open Pros. Decals look 1980 give or take a year.

Thanks in advance!

Nice bike. 1980 was an Olympic boycott year, Moscow Olympics. The Norwegian national team came to the States to race. They were all on Gitanes like yours. White Turbo saddle and bar tape would really enhance the look of your bike.

I wonder if @scozim would have a word on this?

I like it. Interesting mix of parts, but not the typical dogsbreath of your garden variety Frankenbike. There are some very nice component choices here, and that frame looks to be at or near Gitane's top of the range for that timeframe.

If it fit me, I'd offer between $350-$400.

Oops if I've accidentally tempted you with this (looks to be your size), Scott

OP: There is one part on your bike which you need to remove right away and sell separately. Do you know what it is?

PM if you need help

Catalogs on the GitaneUSA site are a little spotty for the 80 - 82 for the US models. Super Corsa for 83 is supposed to be Super Vitus tubing so probably 80-82 model.

Nice looking Gitane and I'm sure it rides great. I need another one like a hole in the head @Drillium Dude

Thank you all, and especially to DrilliumDude for the tip on what part needs to be sold separately.
