Though not positive, it is Peugeot's entry level model, the one just below the UO8 model, perhaps UO6. The bike pictured is in stunning condition, based on what I see. The white turbo saddle is nice to have and seems to fit the bike.

Yes the condition of the bike, is really what captured my eye...do you have any idea is it collectible, how much would the selling price of this bike be

I think its either a Canadian or European model, as far as I know the typical US models did not have the generator mount on the rear stays. Since it has QR hubs as best i can tell I would put it higher than the AO8 or UO6. But there are forum members much better versed in the Peugeot models than I.

Value Tough one, but as a buyer I think 150, but as a seller it's great condition and eye candy billing may bring out a buyers wallet for more. Or more simply, I think it is sellable for more than it's intrinsic worth.

I forgot to say, bicycle is imported from switzerland..I am planing to buy it and resell it on ebay for profit, that is why I need information. Thank you all in advanse. I will determin the asking price by your opinion, for this and hope for many other bikes which are unusuall in some way

That should be a AE-8 model, maybe 1974-1976, the base model without the half-chromed fork, but with touring upgrades which would originally have had fenders, lights, generator, and racks. You can see the generator tab on the rear seat-stay. Also, it's missing a chrome ring on the crankset, which prevents the chain from coming off the large ring, and the photo shows that one chain-ring retaining bolt appears to be missing.
This photo is from the 1972-1973 French catalog cover, which doesn't identify the particular model number, but shows the same bike.

The bike is also missing the rubber hood for the Mafac brake leavers. By the time it's said and done, I will predict you will make little to no money on the deal. No need to argue, that's just my opinion and I have been wrong more than once.

thank you..too bad that many parts are not on the bike

Mr.Toolbox 05-14-17 03:11 PM

i would say 160usd

I see a stamped-steel dropout, and a cottered steel crankset. Heavy, low-end model, but nicely painted and maintained. If I were looking for such a bike, maybe $150 max?

Nesko 05-14-17 03:18 PM

everything less then 230$ on ebay is lousing time....my gess was about 300$ but without adittional informations that I got here

They don't look to be Mafac levers, since there's a cable pass-through slot in the lever on the pics that isn't found on Mafacs. Also, the stem doesn't appear to be one that is seen on this era of Peugeots. I'd imagine the entire bar/stem/lever set has been replaced, seeing as how the cables have been improperly routed to be in front of the bars.
