Need help identifying older Bianchi Bike
Hello I have this bike that was picked up at a garage sale. I have no idea what it is or what it is worth?. Hopefully some of you do! This is an older bianchi bike says Columbus on the stickers. It says made in Italy engraved in the metal.can't find a date on it anywhere and the numbers on the bottom bracket shell are too hard to see in the pics but one side has a 4681 and the other side has an 8•F on it. will add some pictures. Does anyone have any info that would help me to identify this bike and get a rough estimate of its value?

The serial number indicates 1988 manufacture but I suspect it to be a 1989 model based on the Cromor tubeset. Offhand, the only 1989 Cromor model that I recall is the Campione d'Italia but it was SunTour equipped. Regardless, it is very late 1980s and a mid-range frame.

Welcome to Bike Forums.
Bianchi sells better than other brands.
Check comparable age road bikes in your area on CraigsList. Or relevant site for your country.
Clean it up well.
Ask a bit more.

I am with T-Mar it very likely is the '89 CdI but either swapped out derailleurs or.....is this a Canadian bike?
So you bought this? It needs a ton of work to make a better selling presentation to get a good value. It needs to stripped of all the parts, the frame cleaned and waxed, all the parts cleaned and reinstalled.

Simple typo. Long morning on the campaign tail and just popped in here for a little break.
