To be or not to be (Bianchi)

Dear gentlemen and ladies, is this a Bianchi or not? I can't identify it. Sorry, only pic I came across. Any help appreciated. (Bianchigirl?)

Have na'er seen an Edoardo looking anything like this. Combination of fork crown, lugset , headset and seat stay cap are suggestive of a French origin frame. ShimanoTitlist gear ensemble and Sakae Ringyou Silstar chainset are items not encountered on any Biacnhi badged machine I have ever seen. Apears something assembled from dog's breakfast of bits. ----- |
Banding looks more orange than red to me. That could be fading but it might also indicate Mexican origin. The frame looks quite nice in many aspects but it also appears to require a claw adapter for stamped dropouts. It's hard to tell much from the one poor picture.

I would say not a Bianchi and fairly low end based on components. Considering the rough shape and mismatched wheels I would say pass, as presented it is really only a beater worth $75 or so if everything works.

Thanks guys. The Shimano Titlist did it for me. Pass. :)

Actually, I probably would. You only need to compare it to what I actually sprinted after and collected this afternoon. Even the saddle is a match: https://myalbum.com/photo/NYRZ4AvUnybQ/1k0.jpg |

Remarkable resemblance indeed. But: what is it? What exactly did you drag back home? :foo:
Now, back to the main program. |
