Nishiki International...

I know that Walmart has been coming up with some really snazzy bikes lately, but is there still a market for old 18-speed relics like this one ? I recall that SOME of the Nishiki International bikes were acceptable.

Any idea of the age ?

Super Maxy crank with triple chain rings, Suntour derailleurs, 700c alloy wheels, Sugino post, double butted chro-moly frame...

Yes these are great bikes pretty basic but well made frames and great components for the price. I would say worth $250 or so if everything is in good working order.

Looks like it needs tires, but $250-300 is about right. It's hard to tell from 2 pics; but if it's as nice as it looks (and you're patient) you could possibly get more.

That's a great old 80's era steel clunker of a bike. Probably weighs around 28 lbs and, completely bullet proof. Built to last a lifetime. A testament to Japanese manufacturing superiority. Someday people may begin to appreciate these amazing bikes. But right now, it's probably only worth around $200.
