Did I get a deal or did I get screwed? - lol

This cost me $101 shipped, on the bay this morning.

seller states:
“This bike is in excellent condition. Everything on it is original, and everything works properly.”

assuming everything really is in nice condition, did I pay too much?

I'm guesstimating this is about a 1984 model.

I think you got a DEAL! I had a B'stone 400 from the same era that I truly should have kept. If this one fits you, I think you'll find it to be a nimble beast. Bars are too high, but I bet you knew that!

I am guessing this is a 23" or 58cm which would fit me.

It even has a Cyclone MkIi rear derailleur! One of the best RDs ever! NOS examples of that derailleur are valued quite a bitover what you paid for that bike these days.
At $101, you practically stole it!

Tops? $100.00. You over payed.

Great deal on a sweet bike, I don't know how that slipped by but it does show that there are deals to be found, even on eBay.

I sniped it for $85 with a couple of seconds left, and the seller inexplicably wants $16.76 shipping, which I think is a bit optimistic, maybe he wanted to keep the shipping costs partially paid by him because he thought no one would want a bike with a few scuffed up areas, but those scuffs just make the bike more manly, as explained here:

Manly bike for sale

Well somebody got S@#@%#D, shipping will be at least 65.00 to 75.00 not counting the hours it will take to disassemble and bring to the shipper. let's hope they know how to ship and box properly.

Maybe he was feeling guilty and the low shipping was trying to make up for the insane price he got for the only other bike he has sold on ebay:

you should ride it like you stole it!

Super deal!
Offers me encouragement to keep following ebay.
And yes, that Bridgestone has been on my short watch list for over a year.

"The bike says Giant on the side because it's referring to my junk,"

Well, as the proud owner of a new Giant bike, I now have a totally inappropriate joke just waiting to be sprung on an unsuspecting victim.
