Bianchi "Reparto Corse"

I know, I know, all "Reparto Corse" tells us is that this Bianchi was made in Italy - That's why I need the Bianchi gurus here to tell me what year & model this actually is, whether it appears to be original components or some kind of Frankenbike kluge assembly of parts, and what it is worth.

I know there are very desirable Bianchis and very forgettable Bianchis, which is this?

I am not home so I can't look it maybe TMar can. I think it dates to around '94ish but I think it would have come with a chrome fork. It was also likely offered as a F/F and a whole bike but I'll have to look. Bianchi was selling some "kits" around then so who is to say what's stock on these.

$475 may be an OK price but not after you figure in shipping and maybe packing charges.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

Columbus Thron & aftermarket fork do not make this a highly collectible bike.

I would suspect this bike was sold as frame set and built up with very nice budget race components it looks to be a 93/94 frame. As built up not very desirable to Bianchi fans but should make a great rider. I would say about $400-450 in value if everything works good.

Thron is second tier but still quality tubeset. The parts are appropriate for that era bike (early 90's). Wound up forks have a good reputation but I've always found them unattractive. A bike with a replaced fork always deserves a close look for front end crash damage, but nothing obvious in the only pic of that.

That bike doesn't particularly light my fire but it looks to be in good shape and I think it would make a decent rider. I agree with the above valuations.
