I'm not sure if there's a question in there. If there is, you're going to need a lot more information, and photos.

As we are accustomed to in the classic/vintage era, a specific model is getting more difficult to find by a buyer. The Mirage was near the bottom of the line for Motobecane. The frames were a heavy chro-mo and came with steel components. Steel wheelsets, stems, bar, post, cranks made them heavy. I had a '72 Mirage purchased new and thought it was an exotic racer, even though I new it wasnt. But, it was cool. About 5 years ago I bought the Super Mirage that was in great condition and was a treat to own. If you find a Mirage with good paint and straight frame you may pay (in my area) 125-150$ ready to ride.
