GT Edge Titanium

Long time lurker here, finally signed up thanks for the years of bike 411!
I had the fortune to pick up a GT Edge Ti a few weeks back. I Hadn't known much about them before picking it up and am having a hard time finding out info on it. It is also too small for me so I'm hoping to appraise then sell for a fair price( won't try to get rich as I got a sweet deal on it and have always been thankful for fair prices). I'll upload pics when I figure out how to..
My questions- what year was it made? Aluminum forks- what kind? And mostly what is its value?
Thanks in advance for any help, cheers!

Welcome to the forums. The first year for the Ti Edge was 1994. I believe it was only manufactured for two or three years. The serial number may allow us to identify the exact year. The fork was a bonded Kinesis aluminum model. Value will depend on condition and the component group, as these were available with an OEM Dura-Ace group but were also sold separately, as a frameset. The easiest way for new members to provide pictures seems to be uploading them to a photo hosting site (other than Photobucket) then posting the link.

Lurker here too . Just picked up what I believe is an older GT Edge TI, but the serial number doesnt seem right: GTM9610. Is there a database or person I can contact to help me identify this bike?

A database would seem unlikely. GT was bought and sold several times since that frame was made. You best judge the frame based on your own enjoyment.

Nope, that's right. It's pretty straightforward, that number simply means it was the tenth bike of that model made in 1996 for GT (the M might refer to size). I have a 1994 aluminum edge and the serial number is very similar.

Some Edge frames came with carbon forks. Ive seen them sell for $500 tu over $1000 depending on parts and condition. The frame alone could sell for $500+-. I have one and watched ebay sales in the last couple of years. Expect less in a local market.
