If it fits I would say yes. Looks like the drive train may have been updated, I'd ask about old parts. @konaronSnake what do you think?

It's a respectable brand...it has some nice parts...it's worth it if you want it and want to try a tandem...but as far as frequent use, most older tandems are less desirable for a reason. I'd rather spend the $1,000 - $1,500 and get a more modern standard, and usable, one from Bilenky, Santana, etc.

Our local CL is filled with tandems and some outrageous deals occasionally.

I tried to talk my wife into a super nice Santana last spring that was priced at $600.

It even had Madden panniers and Tubus racks.

I didn't have the heart to strip it for parts.
