Help me try to figure out what this is please
It has a double butted frame similar to 86-88 Bianchi Grizzly or early 90's Norco Bigfoot. It has Sakae SX crank, Shimano SIS rear derailleur with date code of 93. Shimano front derailleur with date code 81, araya rims 26x1.5 with KK hubs, 5 speed cassette in back with 3 up front, cantilever brakes, hung kuang plastic pedals, serial number on frame reads H8*9032, and the seat says Bianchi. It has a 21 in. bb to seat and 20 1/2 top tube

After sanding through some of the coats of paint on it I did find one remaining graphic. The original color is white with Bianchi in a pinkish color and a blue stripe. I still need to know year and model if anyone has an idea

It's a 1988 or 1989 model manufactured by Hodaka of Taiwan, who were a known Bianchi source during during this era. It's obviously beenfFrankenbiked which complicates identification beyond the fact that we don't have pictures.

Thank you for your information. Yeah I don't have pictures already on the Web to do an http. I had a guy give it to me because he didn't want to restore it. It came fully complete and just debating on how much I want to put into it and if it's worth it. From reading I understand the butted frames are sought after. I'm more of a Specialized guy and am restoring/restomodding a 1988 Rockhopper Comp. I just don't know anything about Bianchi
