two new Fusos

I just bought a Fuso Lux (serial 727!) and the man had a second - needs a lot of work. I was in a badly basement and got two photos, sorry for the quality. He wants $100 for it, 'seems" to have all parts - wheel was beside it with no tire. paint is badly scraped and can barely read name, needs paint. right now cream colour.....

Next find was another Fuso (sorry didn't get all details) but this one had hung upside down in a garage for years and the bottom of the bottom bracket shell (where seat tube meets down tube) was rusted. Paint is blue and chipped, I'd expect it to be $125.

I think the second is a no-brainer but does anybody see value in the first one???? Just concerned that it might be THREE money pits.....

Hard to tell from the pics, but if its a Fuso its a quality bike. I contacted the seller about the Lux and he wouldn't ship the bike, I even offered a little more money .

At $100 and $125 it is a no-brainer to buy them. They are Fuso's! I paid $100 for mine and I thought it was robbery. Here are before and after pictures. There is hope for the bikes you are thinking of buying.

I would say yes it's decent buy even in it's current shape if the frame set is your size and is strait no major issues it's worth the asking price and then you have another $100 plus in components.

I am local-ish and am interested in either the blue one that is hanging upside down or the one that you took photos of in the basement, without the front wheel. I sent you a private message yesterday about the one that you took photos of.

Funny that you found three Fusos, there must have been a local dealer back in the day that sold these. How did you come across the blue one in the garage, if you don't mind me asking?

You bought the bike on the trainer? Is it just me or is there no rear derailleur on that bike?
