late 50s/early 60s Allegro?

Anyone know much about a Swiss-made bike called Allegro. Have a chance to buy one (so sorry, no pics) that is claimed to be from the late 50s or early 60s. It is all original, Reynolds 531 main tubes, Nervex-style lugs, 3-speed freewheel with derailleur (don't know make), cottered steel crank, upright aluminum handlebars, runs on what appears to be 650B wheels. Appears to have the original paint in very good condition with double-box pin striping. Has what appears to be period correct generator headlight and taillight. From my limited knowledge of bikes in this era it appears to be complete and original and in very good condition. Owner is asking $950. Seems high to me but maybe this is fair for a vintage randonneur bike of this time period ??? Any knowledgeable Allegro people out there?
