Special kind of Colnago??

Hello all!
Recently I have seen this vintage Colnago bike on a market, and I'm not that much into old vintage cycles, so can anyone give me some info on this one? By having a Shimano 600 groupset, it looks like it's some serious machine, but I'm still not sure.. Is it actually worth anything?

Forum still doesn't allow me to post URLs so I just added one space after https, just delete it to make links work.

It appears to be an early to mid-1990s Colnago Master variant. Most members would probably would think it was under dressed with 600 Ultegra.

If I could get my hands on it, is it worth buying it for about $300?

In the USA, it would be worth at least double that.

A bare frame would sell on E-Bay between $400 and $600 or so.

Yep, I was highlighting the entire line. Oops.

Red and white. Ughh. Yeah $300 is a deal. Just make sure you are not getting scammed, and potentially robbed.

It looks like somebody took the parts they wanted off, and put the 600 stuff on, and just wants to dump it. Quick sale, quick cash.

So it's not factory made with 600 stuff? Then it probably had Campagnolo parts? Anyway, the whole groupset looks like it's not driven much and worn out.

Most Colnago of this era were not factory equipped with anything. Most were shipped as framesets which would then be built by the distributor, LBS or customer. While 600 Ultegra is lower than what most members would expect on this level of frame, it was not unknown for higher level Italian bicycles to be built with 600 Ultegra, as it offered excellent performance per dollar. It is period correct, so it would not surprise if the original build was 600 Ultegra.

600 is excellent stuff. I have it on my current bike, and have had it on another. Rock solid, and reliable.
