Ebay's gotta be the best way to get a comprehensive answer. From personal experience, I can share a couple things with you.
I sold an NOS set with case for a bit over 3k back in the mid-2000s. Sold off an incomplete used set piece by piece and realized around 1.2k (lacked a rear derailleur).
If you want to ride it, well, it's no different than normal Super Record in operation - though it is somewhat heavier. I used a set on one of my daily riders for close on 10 years if you can believe it. Given the choice I'd rather have normal SR, honestly. Today I'd feel bad about using a new set. I mean, what's the point? It's a collectible to my mind, not a viable option for use since there are vastly more conventional SR components out there for consumption.
I'm off to Ebay. I'm curious as to how this stuff has fared recently.

Sorry no real ideas. When I see it on eBay, it's usually as an entire group and priced way beyond what I'm interested in paying, so I move on without paying much mind. If I had it and decided to sell, I think I would set it with a BIN in the mid range of what other used groups have sold for.
Also I would try to sell it as a group. I think it pleases the bike gods to try keep original pieces like that together.

I don't follow it that closely and it's usually sold complete. The times I have seen it as one part, it's usually been rough and doesn't go that high.

I guess I'd put up a BIN/make offer at 4x value of NR? See what happens. So a NR crankset is 80ish...try 320? The complete gruppos usually seem to list at around 4x.
Hardly scientific/guess work.

Don't know, but they're still showing for sale over on ThePaceline.
Looks like he took his toys elsewhere?

Just between us ladies, and also considering the frequency with which you post, jianshi, I would think the modest annual fee for a membership would hardly be difficult to justify. Especially since, in the example case, there are probably BF members here who would be willing the pay the requested price for said group.

So just use this forum thread free of charge to advertise your wares. Do the mods enforce the stated rules of the appraisal forum? It seems every other day someone posts here: "I am selling this xyz, it will be on ebay tomorrow, what would you pay?"

For a fellow who thinks my pricing is steep, cough-cough. A woman's Raleigh Sport for $400, really?

If you didn't start and continue till today with your critiques of my cl listings in bikeforums a few years ago, I would not be leveling the playing field. So be a regular guy and not a horses backend and I will cease as well.

It's a shame this has gotten away from what's an interesting gruppo that we don't see sell too often...
Jiang...please let us know what happens with sale.
