Steve Bauer - Full Matched Shimano 600...
Just got this incredible Steve Bauer, fitted with a Shimano 600 group, Araya 700c rims, stainless spokes, a Blackburn pump and saddle bag, filled with stuff and money. I am keeping the money, but will offer the bike, or the group set, for sale in the for sale forum. As for condition...
I took a quick look and could not find a scratch in the paint. Mind you, there is a lot of dust on the bike, "as found". Everything, except the tires, hoods and saddle are in very good condition.
Sorry for the poor pictures. Will get some better ones, when I have cleaned the Bauer off.
Anyway, what value would you put on the bicycle, with Blackburn pump and saddle bag and contents(I am keeping the six dollars) included?

Just finished cleaning the Bauer up and I can honestly say that only one bike, out of hundreds, has reached me in such nice shape(Gardin 400), cosmetically and mechanically. A couple of small nicks in the paint, no fading, all decals intact, no chrome issues. Again, the saddle and hoods are pooched, as are the tires(700c x 20), which seem to have seen little use.
Gotta pull the 600 pedals, fit up a set of SPD's and test ride the bike, which I now believe to be of 1985 vintage.

The components and serial number may indicate 1985 manufacturer, but it's a 1986-1987 model.
