Universal Mignon brakes...
What approximate vintage would Universal Mignon brakes calipers be? There is a set on Ebay, right now, and was wondering if they would be appropriate for my 1958 Rabeneick 120..?

My daughters bike has Mignon calipers, pretty sure they are original to the bike- a late 70's modest price point Italian. They have a longish reach. I'm not sure what year they were introduced. Looked here yet?

One thing I have always wondered about regarding Fratelli Pietra products is the ink colour. Older models seemed to receive red ink while later ones blue. Have no idea if there was a "hard" date for the change however. There could easily have been overlap...
