Cinelli Columbus Master Vintage Racing Bike

Hello People !

I have not so much of a understanding about racing bicycles, therefore I am asking for your help...

This is a beautiful vintage racing bicycle but could you please tell me more...I bought because of "cinelli" frame. Could you please evaluate the parts and the bicycle itself what would be the price for it at the moment and if it is worth to do something else ?

Any help would be highly appreciated !

Best regards,

Henry

Hello, and welcome to Bike Forums.

I've requested that this topic get moved to Classic and Vintage Appraisals where it will get a lot more exposure.

Cinelli sold a lot of lugs. So, while the bottom bracket and head tube lugs are marked Cinelli, it is more likely they bike was assembled by a different company, using Cinelli lugs.

The M with an arrow on the fork should be pretty recognizable. Hopefully someone has seen it.

It's not a Cinelli, just a Cinelli bottom bracket. In that condition, $200 would be my guess.

Strange drive side dropout and attachment. It looks like a repair attempt. Does the non-drive side dropout look the same?

Thanks for welcoming me !

and thanks for a feedback so far.... I will take some more pictures of the bicycle... I was told so far by some experts here in Groningen, The Netherlands that the best would be to take away the frame and sell it separately for 250-300eu....

Is there any specific angle of the bicycle that I should take a photo of ? I am interested to hear your feedback
