Custom Simonetti Aluminum (Easton 7005 Elite) by Mike Howard

I bought a custom built Simonetti Aluminum (Easton 7005 Elite) road bike when I was living in SoCal in '98 (see attached) and am looking to upgrade to one of these new fangled Carbon Bikes (Trek SL6 Disc). The bike has full Shimano Dura Ace brakes, shifters, derailleurs and I had added a really light Mavic Elite wheelset

And, yes, this frame was built by Mike Howard himself as his name is on a chain stay, no less.

Does anyone know how much this vintage setup would be worth today ?

Hello mbk73 and welcome to the forums. How custome is the frame? If the proportions are really odd you may be better off selling the parts and frame separately.

If you like this I'd keep it until you ride the plastic bike and make sure you like it.

Fortunately I am a "regular" 6.2 guy so it not anything extreme by any means - I have others of a similar build ride it back in the day and did not have any negative comments that it felt weird or "non standard"

I am curious if you had this to sell what would you list it for ?
cheers

Part it out to realize reasonable value.
Reputation of the brand and builder squashes interest.

I have seen frame sets of this brand and era sit at $150. Offer.
